Cold Day In July

Well, it’s not cold. But it is raining. It’s not just raining. It’s lightning, thunder, “monsooning” like we skipped the 4th of July.

Leave the Light On -a great song. Love these lights I gifted my mom that she displays around her pool.

Sometimes it feels like we did. Okay, I can’t speak for you. I can only speak for me.

Apparently I’m fat. So that’s great.

I try so hard to look good. To feel good. To be good.

But I’m not.

I went to be GREAT, but it’s still a work in progress.

I’m all about progress.

So it looks like I have more work to do. And that’s okay… I’m the hardest working, most motivated woman I know at this moment… with a real FIRE fueling my soul.

Winning on the 4th of July. The morning wasn’t bad.

I won’t back down. I’ve come too far to back down.

Tom Petty is very special to Gainesville, so now he’s special to me.

I still have yet to attend a home game in the Swamp where about 100,000 of my closest friends whip out their iPhones and Androids with the flashlight on after the 3rd quarter to Tom Perry’s epic hit “I Won’t Back Down.”

Tailgating with Momma Hoofie at Theta Chi Fraternity. In my “prime.”

That’s something I would love to be apart of.

Hopefully I will experience it for the first time ever this fall.

When it’s finally FALL Y’ALL and time for some yee-haw FLORIDA FOOTBALL.

One of my great friends from my childhood, high school and all through college. She has been there for me through thick and thin… even when I wasn’t able to be there for her. I love you, girl. ❤️🇺🇸🐊
